VP of Design

Position: VP of Design for Trustly
Lead Trustly's design vision as the VP of Design. Drive innovation in how consumers interact with payments, focusing on quality and user experience in a global setting.

As the VP of Design, you will spearhead the quality standards and design vision for Trustly’s consumer and merchant-facing products. This senior role requires a leader with a strong background in product design, who can foster a collaborative culture while guiding multiple design teams through a high-growth landscape. Your expertise in AI-native prototyping and strategic design processes will be essential as you integrate design deeply into product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set the design vision and language for Trustly products

• Lead and mentor product designers across various surfaces

• Own the design system ensuring efficiency and consistency

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams for seamless integration

• Drive user research and testing for informed design decisions

Requirements:

• 12+ years in product design with leadership experience

• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design processes

• Expertise in design systems and interaction design

• Proven track record in building design teams

• Experience in fintech or complex user contexts
