continuing education teaching positions

re: continuing education – after hours math and english support program teaching positions (tips, osslt preparation, numeracy support, before school, lunch time programs and/or after school)

2, 4 and 6 week temporary assignments

administrators must refer to nm. All participating elementary and secondary schools. Please submit directly to the "principal" of your school.

• teacher of remedial math and english – grade 7/8 (elementary)
• teacher of remedial math and english secondary (non-credit)

• length of assignment and sessions may vary by school program.
• ontario teacher's certification required.
• special education qualifications an asset.
• preference will be given to current contract teachers.
• duties include taking attendance in power school.

commencing throughout the year as schools initiate programs. Current contract teachers with this board are invited to apply to this posting to their principal directly. If positions remain unfilled then lto supply teachers will be considered (must be current board employees).

• a cover letter outlining your interest and relevant teaching experience.
• a detailed resume summarizing education and experience.
• a copy of your current ontario teacher’s certificate of qualification.
• clearly state "after hours academic support" in your cover letter.
