Position: Assistant Teacher for Child Development Program

The role of Assistant Early Childhood Teacher involves working closely with the Lead Teacher to implement engaging curricula and support classroom activities. You may be assigned to various age groups, ensuring compliance with NAEYC and DHS standards while promoting children's emotional and developmental health. Your position is pivotal in facilitating a supportive atmosphere for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the Lead Teacher to nurture a welcoming environment

• Assist in the developmentally appropriate curriculum execution

• Comply with JCC and DHS guidelines for classroom care

• Ensure supervision for children's emotional and physical safety

• Participate in necessary team and JCC events

Requirements:

• High school diploma with 15 credits in Early Childhood-related fields

• OR high school diploma with 30 credits

• OR two years’ experience with young children

• Openness to JCC's Jewish traditions and values

• Engagement in JCC programs and activities
