Become a vital member of the North American Trade Schools team as a Construction Maintenance Electrician Program Instructor in Brampton, Ontario. Utilize your 5+ years of trade experience to guide and support aspiring electricians.
In this instructor role, you will model professional behavior and deliver the electrical curriculum in both physical and virtual settings. Engagement with students outside of class, conducting employer visits, and coordinating field trips are essential tasks. You will also track student attendance and performance to ensure progression and readiness for employment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct lectures and hands-on demonstrations
• Manage student attendance and feedback systems
• Assist students with support outside of class hours
• Arrange and lead field trips and employer visits
• Collaborate with Career Services for student readiness
Requirements:
• 48 months of relevant work or teaching experience
• 309A credentials preferred
• Familiar with Learning Management Systems
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
• Two professional references required
