Part-Time Math and English Tutor

Enhance student learning with Oxford Learning Brampton Ebenezer as a part-time Math and English Tutor. You’ll guide students in their success in mathematics and English through engaging lessons.

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about teaching, preferably with a Bachelor's degree or certification in a relevant field. You’ll work Monday to Thursday evenings, committing until June, with a preference for continuing into summer. Experience in guiding students and a good knowledge of the Grades 1-12 math curriculum, particularly advanced functions and algebra, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach up to three students at diverse levels

• Utilize Oxford Learning’s proven methodologies

• Maintain professional and friendly interactions

• Fill in post-lesson notes and updates

• Communicate effectively with students and parents

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or teaching certification preferred

• Experience teaching/tutoring mathematics at high school levels

• Strong English communication skills

• Ability to multitask with multiple students

• Clear police record check required
