Contribute to the development of young minds as an Early Learning Assistant Teacher at Family Day in Brampton, ON. Support the delivery of quality child care in a collaborative environment.
Family Day is looking for an Assistant Teacher to work closely with E.C.E. Teachers to enhance children's learning experiences from ages 0-12. You will assist in executing the High/Scope® educational framework while ensuring that each child's unique needs are met creatively and respectfully. This position provides an impactful role in fostering an inclusive community for children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Aid in planning and implementing educational programs
• Support child assessments and progress monitoring
• Guide children in daily activities and routines
• Maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment
• Foster effective communication with families
Requirements:
• Experience in early childhood or child care preferred
• Strong communication and assessment skills
• Leadership and teamwork abilities are essential
• Medical and police checks must be current
• Certification in First Aid and CPR required
