Hybrid PAMA Educator

Become a PAMA Educator with Peel Region in Brampton, Ontario. This hybrid role offers the chance to engage diverse audiences, delivering art programs at schools and community events.

As a Casual Educator at PAMA, you'll work up to 15 hours weekly with flexible scheduling, supporting diverse participants. Collaborating closely with the Community Engagement Supervisor, you will prepare and implement innovative art and museum activities for children, adults, and seniors. Your creativity and passion for art will help foster community engagement and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver art programs to various audience groups

• Work with children, seniors, and special needs populations

• Create lesson plans aligned with educational goals

• Facilitate public engagement initiatives through art

• Collaborate with the PAMA education team for outreach efforts

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in art education or related fields

• Experience with diverse age groups and special needs

• Knowledge in contemporary visual art and Canadian history

• Strong organizational and facilitation skills

• Vulnerable Sector Police Check required
