Driver Trainer - Bilingual; French & English

Summary: We are seeking a Bilingual Driver Trainer to deliver training, provide coaching, and evaluate drivers based on company training programs. This role focuses on adult learning techniques and ensures trainees meet performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model professional behavior at all times.
• Clearly communicate behavioral expectations to trainees.
• Report schedules, attendance, and observations to the Training Coordinator.
• Deliver training using adult and accelerated learning techniques.
• Observe and provide coaching to improve trainee performance.
• Conduct final evaluations and coaching sessions at the end of training.
• Stay updated on company procedures and training methods.
• Collaborate with other trainers and managers on training needs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• Associate degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of work experience accepted.
• At least 1 year of driving experience in the trucking industry.

Licenses/Certifications:

• DZ license or higher preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Ability to give constructive feedback and assess performance.
• Effective coaching and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Must be bilingual (French and English).

Work Environment:

• Use of motor coordination and computer skills required.
• May handle objects under 30 pounds occasionally.
• Rare exposure to occupational risks.
• Frequent exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes.
• Work performed in both office and outdoor training environments.
