This 1.00 FTE position with the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) seeks a passionate educator for English, Drama, and Religion subjects. Candidates should embody a strong commitment to fostering student well-being and reflect the diverse backgrounds of our community. Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement dynamic lesson plans
• Engage students with diverse instructional strategies
• Monitor and evaluate student progress regularly
• Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario teaching certification
• Degree in Education or equivalent
• Experience in teaching at the intermediate level
• Knowledge of equity and inclusion best practices
• Enthusiasm for promoting student engagement and success
