Job Status: Part-time

Start Date: As soon as Possible

Working Hours: Monday to Friday ( Morning and evening classes), with occasional Saturdays

Salary: $29 per hour

Your Day to Day:

Delivering instruction that meets module and program objectives as set out in the curriculum

Evaluating student performance fairly and consistently

Contributing to the development of curriculum and instructional materials

Supporting the administrative functions of the campus to enhance the student experience

Acting in a manner that upholds the College standards

Participating in College and Program Activities

Monitoring and reviewing students during practicum and/or clinical placements, as the program requires

What You Bring to the Table

Law degree or diploma from a recognized university or college in Ontario in Law, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Legal Administration, or a related field.

Active member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO) for a minimum of 3 years
.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant practical work experience in a legal or paralegal environment.

Previous teaching, training, mentoring, or instructional experience is strongly preferred; a certificate in Adult Education or Adult Learning is considered an asset.

Strong interest in student success and innovative, learner-centered teaching methodologies.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation and group facilitation skills.

Demonstrated ability to motivate, mentor, and inspire students.

Strong organizational, time-management, and classroom management skills.

High standards of professionalism, ethical conduct, and commitment to quality service.

Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, academic leadership, and administrative staff.

Ability to assess and respond to diverse student needs, provide constructive feedback, and foster an inclusive learning environment.

Proficiency with educational technology and learning management systems (LMS) to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.

Knowledge of current legal practices, legislation, and industry trends, with the ability to connect theory to practical, real-world applications.
