Location: Shelburne
Elevate young minds in a Long Term Occasional Core French teaching role with the Upper Grand District School Board. This position offers 1.0 FTE from September 2, 2026, to January 8, 2027.
As part of the UGDSB, you will enhance the educational experience for elementary students during the absence of their regular teacher. We seek candidates holding FSL Part 1, with Junior and Intermediate qualifications. This role demands creativity and commitment to student achievement aligned with Ministry of Education standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality instruction in Core French
• Support student achievement and well-being
• Collaborate with school staff and the principal
• Ensure adherence to Board Policies and curriculum standards
• Maintain a positive classroom environment
Requirements:
• FSL Part 1, Junior, Intermediate qualifications
• Strong communication and teaching skills
• Ability to engage diverse learners
• Vulnerable Sector Check required prior to employment
• Ability to adapt and support various educational needs
