The Upper Grand District School Board seeks an Educational Assistant reporting to the school Principal. You will support behaviour, safety, medical, and physical needs while working individually or in groups. The position serves students with complex needs across classroom settings.

• Support students’ behaviour, safety, medical, and physical needs
• Work individually and in group settings
• Lift, toilet, position, and transfer children and equipment
• Apply Behaviour Management Systems techniques where required
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and Administration

• Educational Assistant Diploma or equivalent education and experience
• Post-Secondary Degree in a related field
• Valid Behaviour Management Systems certification
• Autism Spectrum Disorder and Lifting/Positioning Training
• Recent experience supporting special needs and behavioural disabilities preferred
