Renewable Energy Operations Technician

Cormorant Utility Services is seeking a Renewable Energy Operations Technician to ensure optimal performance at their solar generation facilities. Engage in the safe operation and maintenance of solar power plant systems.

This role, requiring a minimum of three years in electrical operations, involves routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various electrical systems. Collaboration with Operations, Engineering, and Asset Management teams will be key to maintaining high reliability and regulatory compliance in renewable energy production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate solar power systems for efficiency

• Conduct routine checks of inverters and PV arrays

• Execute preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary

• Record operational logs and maintenance reports

• Assist with testing and system upgrades

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in related electrical fields

• Experience in utility-scale renewable installations preferred

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and controls

• Ability to travel and work at remote sites

• Solid organizational skills for documentation
