Responsibilities
Prepare civil earthwork engineering drawings and Civil 3D models based on engineering data for dams and water retention structures, tailings storage facilities, waste rock storage facilities, site earthwork planning and development, site grading and drainage, access roads and facilities infrastructure, and stormwater management plans, including design of retention and detention ponds, lift stations, and controlled discharge.

Access roads and facilities infrastructure
Stormwater management plans (retention/detention ponds, lift stations, controlled discharge)
Coordinate with other disciplines.
Perform periodic site visits for field checks as required.
Work alongside the Civil engineering team.
Provide technical support to the project team.
Prepare civil material take‑offs.
Prepare as‑built drawings, design and detail new components from previous designs, implement specifications, perform design computations and dimensional modelling, and conduct volumetric calculations.
Support multiple projects, meeting client deadlines and deliverables.
Qualifications
A college degree or diploma.
Excellent knowledge of Civil 3D and AutoCAD with recent project experience.
Minimum of 10 years of EPCM/design experience.
Experience with in the mining industry.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
The hourly rate for this role is between $65–$75, with compensation based on individual candidate factors.
