Senior Structural Engineer Mining

Join EXP as a Senior Structural Engineer specializing in mining at our Brampton, Sudbury, or North Bay, ON office. Leverage your 12+ years of experience in structural analysis and design for mining infrastructure.

As a key member of our Mining team, you will conduct site visits, perform structural assessments, and create detailed drawings in compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will contribute to client coordination and the development of layout designs, along with mentoring junior engineers. This role requires strong analytical skills, project management capabilities, and proficiency in relevant engineering software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visits for mining infrastructure assessments

• Analyze and design steel structures and concrete foundations

• Prepare technical documentation and engineers calculations

• Mentor junior staff and assist in proposals

• Perform post-IFC services and document stamping

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)

• Minimum 12 years of relevant project experience

• Proficient in STAAD.Pro and relevant engineering codes

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
