Responsibilities and Attributes Project Planning & Coordination Lead CAPEX project planning, including scope, timelines, and budgets
Define project objectives and deliverables aligned with business goals
Coordinate resources and ensure adherence to milestones
Communicate expectations and status clearly to stakeholders
Proactively manage scope changes, risks, and contingencies
Engineering Design & Technical Ownership Develop and evaluate manufacturing processes, systems, and equipment
Conduct feasibility studies and cost‑benefit analyses
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures
Technical Documentation Prepare and maintain engineering documentation (drawings, specifications, reports)
Ensure documentation meets industry and regulatory requirements
Identify project risks early
Develop and implement mitigation strategies
Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with production, maintenance, procurement, and other stakeholders
Support safe operations, product quality, reliability, and productivity
Drive alignment across functional teams
Coach, mentor, and support team members and contractors
Promote ownership, accountability, and continuous learning
Engage and manage external vendors and suppliers
Review proposals, support technical evaluations, and negotiate contracts
Coordinate with municipalities for permits where required
Quality Assurance Implement quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure deliverables meet defined standards and specifications
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety
Stay informed on technologies that support operational improvements
Qualifications Engineering degree (Mechanical preferred)
Minimum 5 years of engineering/project experience
Experience in food or process manufacturing environments
Experience with systems such as CIP, pasteurization, and sterilization
Knowledge of instrumentation, PLCs, and SCADA systems
Strong understanding of engineering design and project delivery
Strong project management and organizational skills
Financial acumen (budgeting, cost control, ROI awareness)
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
Clear communication and stakeholder management skills
Adaptability in dynamic environments
Negotiation and influencing ability

Compensation Base salary range: $99,100 – $123,900+
