As part of the L3

Harris WESCAM team, you will play a crucial role in designing effective mechanical tooling that supports advanced optical systems. This position requires close collaboration with machine shops and engineering teams to ensure optimal support for assembly and testing processes. Your focus on continuous improvement will help meet our customers' critical needs in national security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical tooling for testing and repairs

• Liaise with operations teams to verify tooling functionality

• Create detailed CAD models and documentation

• Mentor junior team members on tooling projects

• Optimize manufacturing processes and waste reduction

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience

• Strong proficiency in Solid Works and FEA

• Familiarity with GD&T practices

• Experience in machining processes and materials

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
