Senior Electrical Engineer in North America

Join Socomec North America as a Senior Electrical Engineer focused on designing and supporting power distribution systems. Your expertise will directly impact the precision of manufacturable electrical solutions.

This role entails collaborating with teams to convert customer specifications into safe, compliant designs. You'll utilize E‑Plan for schematic development and ensure compliance with industry standards while supporting both ETO and CTO initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and validate electrical schematics for power distribution

• Prepare technical documentation for engineering approval

• Develop and execute test plans, supporting testing activities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful deliveries

• Aid in certification and compliance for new product lines

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required

• Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical design experience

• Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing

• Familiar with NEC, UL standards, and E-Plan design

• Effective communicator and team collaborator
