This vital role involves designing underground transmission lines, including detailed routing and duct bank configurations. You will lead a small team, manage project designs, and ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications. Your responsibilities will also include developing detailed calculations and specifications for cable procurement and installation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and analyze underground transmission systems
• Lead and direct a team of engineers and designers
• Create specifications for duct bank installations
• Conduct bonding studies and ampacity calculations
• Collaborate with stakeholders on project specifications
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree from an engineering program
• Minimum of 7 years in related design experience
• Proficient in CYMCAP and other modeling software
• Knowledge of design codes such as IEEE and ANSI
• Strong documentation and communication skills
Utilize your experience in underground transmission design at Sargent & Lundy to help shape critical infrastructure projects.
