Description
IKO Industries is seeking a Corporate Process Engineer to join our team of skilled professionals reporting to the Process Engineering Manager. The main objective of the role is to provide process engineering services in support of optimization and continuous improvement of our existing facilities.

Responsible for the development of process engineering deliverables (PFDs, mass and energy balances, theory of operations, P&IDs)Carry out process optimization studies of industrial plants, with a focus on asphalt, thermal oil systems, and ISO/TPO plantsConsult and negotiate with plant engineers to prepare specifications, explain proposals and present engineering reports and findingsWork alongside other engineers in capital investment projectsCreate, modify, and execute functional test plans of automated systemsParticipate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA)Support IKO’s core values and leadership behavioursQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering; P.Eng. is an asset3 to 7 years of relevant work experience in a similar roleKnowledge of ASME B31.3 and TSSA rules and regulations is an assetExperience with Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) methods is an assetAbility to work effectively independently and within a team environmentSix Sigma certification is an assetProficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookAbility to manage short and long-term projectsExcellent verbal and written communication skills (must be fluent in English)Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilitiesMust have excellent planning and time management skillsMust be able to travel across Canada and the United States#LI-DI1
