Join Aerospace Corporation as a Next Gen OPIR Polar Multidisciplinary Engineer in El Segundo, CA. Support satellite systems and lead technical assessments for U.S. Space Force projects.
This full-time role requires collaboration on the Next Gen OPIR Polar program, focusing on spacecraft sub-systems and hardware builds. You will analyze flight vehicle construction while coordinating closely with government contractors and Aerospace SMEs. Your involvement directly influences mission capabilities for the northern hemisphere's missile warning systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical assessments for flight 2 space vehicle hardware
• Support fabrication and assembly of spacecraft systems
• Conduct independent evaluations of prime contractor activities
• Collaborate with USSF and contractors on mission strategies
• Engage in strategic planning for spacecraft capabilities
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• 8+ years of experience in spacecraft systems
• Hands-on knowledge of electronics and subsystems
• Familiarity with risk management and production challenges
• Must obtain a Secret security clearance
