Intermediate Roadway Designer

Be part of a transformative team as an Intermediate Roadway Designer located in Brampton, Ontario. Engage in the design and oversight of roadway projects that impact multiple communities and enhance transportation infrastructure.

In this role, you'll prepare design criteria, create compelling proposals, and mentor junior staff. You'll also liaise with various stakeholders, including clients and contractors, to ensure designs meet essential standards. Your expertise will guide the successful completion of projects from proposal to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare design reports for highways and various roads

• Develop and review design plans for compliance

• Create tender documents and agency applications

• Oversee Shop Drawing finalization processes

• Mentor and guide junior division staff

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5–7 years in roadway design

• Proficient with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Micro Station

• Knowledge of MTO and Metrolinx standards

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Track record of successful infrastructure design approvals
