Instrumentation Designer ON

Join EXP as an Instrumentation Designer in Brampton, ON, focusing on oil and gas projects. Utilize your instrumentation design expertise while working in a collaborative environment that values diversity and innovation.

In this position, you will be integral to the Oil & Gas team, delivering instrumentation system design, fabrication, and maintenance. The role requires strong skills in compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design instrumentation and control systems meeting codes and standards

• Review and approve contractor engineering content

• Ensure third-party compliance with technical specifications

• Create process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)

• Supervise installation and testing of instrumentation systems

Requirements:

• Technical diploma in Industrial Instrumentation or higher

• Proficiency in Autocad and Smart Plant Software

• Experience in electrical and telecom systems preferred

• Competence in safety system design and integration

• Familiarity with ISA, IEC, and NEC codes
