The Prairie Agricultural Machinery Institute is seeking a Senior Engineer with at least 10 years of experience. You'll lead applied research and product development projects while collaborating closely with the PM Team. Your expertise in mechanical systems and testing equipment will play a critical role in delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead R&D and engineering projects with the PM Team
• Design and construct prototypes, operate test equipment
• Perform advanced CAD modeling and engineering analysis
• Provide guidance in problem-solving and decision-making
• Support field testing, data collection, and analysis
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree with 15+ years experience or Master's/PhD with 10+
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and instrumentation
• Proficient in CAD/CAE tools; FEA/CFD knowledge is an asset
• Familiarity with quality systems and compliance standards
• Experience in experimental setup and operation of test equipment
