Contribute to impactful projects as an Instrumentation Designer at EXP in Brampton, ON, focusing on innovative oil and gas solutions.
Your role will involve system design and compliance with industry standards.
As a vital member of the Oil & Gas team, you'll lead instrumentation system design, fabrication, and maintenance activities. Expertise in material selection and installation procedures will drive safety and efficiency in project execution. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams will ensure that all systems are successfully integrated and functional.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure instrumentation systems comply with applicable industry standards
• Supervise contractor engineering and design content
• Prepare comprehensive technical specifications and P&IDs
• Lead performance testing and installation inspection activities
• Manage coordination between various engineering disciplines
Requirements:
• Diploma in Industrial Instrumentation or equivalent experience
• Understanding of control system design principles
• Skilled in AutoCAD and Smart Plant Instrumentation
• Familiarity with relevant engineering codes and standards
• Preference for candidates with electrical background
