Lead financial reporting and budget oversight as District Controller for Karis Disability Services, working on-site in Waterloo, Ontario. Support ministry-funded services across Waterloo and Saskatchewan.
This permanent, full-time District Controller supports the Director of Strategic Finance. You will guide financial stewardship, regulatory compliance, and internal control. The position translates complex financial matters into clear guidance for leaders, managers, ministries, and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead monthly analysis and reporting across assigned districts
- Prepare reports for Program Managers and Executive Directors
- Identify variances, anomalies, and compliance issues
- Lead annual budgeting and develop financial forecasts
- Communicate financial results to stakeholders and management
- Six to nine years of comparable work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- CPA or equivalent preferred
- Some overnight travel to Saskatchewan required
- Ability to support regulatory compliance and internal control
