Senior Sales Tax Financial Analyst

Lead Peel Region’s Sales Tax and CRA filings as a Senior Financial Analyst in a hybrid Brampton role requiring analytical expertise.

This contract full-time position supports Corporate Finance and Treasury for up to 12 months. You will manage tax accounts, prepare monthly filings, guide GST/HST treatment, and support public sector financial reporting. The role also contributes to audits, year-end consolidation, and the annual Financial Information Return.

• Coordinate ROP and PHC tax accounts and CRA communications
• Prepare and file monthly PHC and ROP CRA tax filings
• Ensure accurate GST/HST treatment across financial transactions
• Guide Finance and program staff on tax accounting
• Support audits, consolidation, and Financial Information Return reporting

• University degree in business administration, commerce, or economics
• CPA, ACCA, or CFA accounting designation
• Minimum five years’ progressive sales tax or business experience
• Knowledge of Sales Tax and CRA guidelines
• Audit working papers and financial statement preparation experience
