Brampton Housing Policy Advisor

Drive impactful housing policies as a Housing Policy Advisor with Peel Region. This hybrid role offers the chance to influence government strategies and enhance community services in Brampton.

As an Advisor in Public Policy and Government Relations, you will analyze policies, lead a team of specialists, and prepare critical reports.

Your role requires high-level strategic thinking and strong analytical skills to ensure community housing supports meet local needs and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct policy analysis to inform advocacy strategies

• Build and sustain relationships with government stakeholders

• Supervise a team and develop their skills

• Monitor and evaluate housing service performance

• Prepare and present reports to Council and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in human services or related field

• Minimum five years in housing policy or government relations

• Three years of leadership experience

• Expertise in statistical and analytical concepts

• Ability to address sensitive issues with political savvy
