This critical role under the By-law Enforcement Supervisor requires tactful interaction with the public while investigating non-moving parking violations. Positioning offers 24 hours of work per week at Flower City Community Campus, ensuring compliance with city regulations. Your daily tasks involve issuing Penalty Notices and maintaining thorough records of activities and investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce non-moving parking by-laws across the designated area
• Issue Penalty Notices using handheld computing devices
• Remove illegal signs from city boulevards and roadways
• Maintain a detailed journal of activities and investigations
• Gather evidence for potential prosecutions and testify in hearings
Requirements:
• High school graduation and 1-2 years in Law and Security
• 2-6 months of relevant enforcement experience
• Valid non-probationary class G license
• Ability to obtain a COB permit
• Criminal record check is mandatory
