In this pivotal role, you will report to the Director of Planning Policy and the Director of Development Review. With ten years of experience in environmental and land use planning, preferably in municipal settings, you will manage complex environmental assessments and provide thorough evaluations on various projects. Your expertise will shape long-range planning and ensure compliance with established regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review environmental studies and development applications

• Manage consultant activities and peer review tasks

• Provide input on Secondary Plans and Special Studies

• Prepare detailed reports and present to Council

• Liaise with Conservation Authority partners

Requirements:

• Four-Year University Degree in Environmental Planning or related field

• Ten years of municipal environmental planning experience

• Membership with Canadian Institute of Planners as RPP

• Insights on Provincial and Regional planning policies

• Exceptional interpersonal and report writing skills
