Emergency Dispatch Operator - Critical Communications
City of Brampton is seeking a Communications Operator to join the Joint Fire Communications Centre. You will receive emergency calls, dispatch fire apparatus and personnel for Brampton, Mississauga and Caledon, and operate CAD, radio, and console equipment in a high-pressure environment.
The role requires a Grade 12 education, a post-secondary Emergency Services Dispatch accreditation, and prior emergency communications experience. Evening/night shifts and uniform usage are part of the job.
