Become a key player in sterilization processes at Stanford Health Care as a Sterile Processing Technician II. This evening position focuses on high-quality patient care and safety.
The Sterile Processing Technician II is essential for operations in the Sterile Processing Department.
Your role will encompass the cleaning, sterilization, assembly, and storage of instruments and supplies in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include training new staff and ensuring departmental compliance with all safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow established protocols for decontamination and sterilization
• Maintain inventory efficiently and responsibly
• Collaborate with peers to meet departmental goals
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
• Report discrepancies to supervisory staff
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience
• CRCST or CSPDT certification within 180 days
• Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation
• Ability to work respectfully in a diverse environment
