In this part-time role, you will be responsible for greeting patients, ensuring proper specimen process understanding, and conducting necessary tests. Your flexibility in working Saturdays and Sundays will be essential as you assist fellow healthcare practitioners, enabling accurate diagnostics and patient monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and ensure adherence to test protocols
• Perform phlebotomies and connect/disconnect holter monitors
• Execute special test collections and complete documentation
• Maintain client relationships through inquiries and follow-ups
• Accurately enter patient information related to test processing
Requirements:
• Graduate of an approved Laboratory Assistant program
• Preferred experience in phlebotomy and ECG training
• Strong computer skills with a typing speed of 40 wpm
• Excellent patient service skills, especially under pressure
• Ability to uphold patient privacy and confidentiality
