Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients and clarify the specimen collection process

• Execute phlebotomies and conduct ECG tracings

• Handle medical/legal test collections and documentation

• Maintain effective communication with patients and clients

• Organize specimens for timely testing and transportation

Requirements:

• Completion of an approved Laboratory Assistant program

• Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred

• Competency with computer tasks and typing at 40 wpm

• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for patients

• Uphold rigorous standards of confidentiality
