Kerry’s Place seeks a compassionate Autism Support Assistant dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and youth with Autism. You will foster strong relationships with supported individuals, working closely with families and professionals. Key skills include creativity, communication, and teamwork to effectively assist with personal goals and quality of life outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day support to individuals with Autism
• Implement behavior support plans and strategies
• Assist with social skills and daily living support
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Document and report on health records and outcomes
Requirements:
• Developmental Service Worker Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience supporting individuals with Autism
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
• Availability for flexible working hours
