Join Halton Healthcare as a part-time Respiratory Therapist in Georgetown. You’ll ensure exemplary patient care through equipment operation and diagnostic testing in critical settings.
In this permanent role, you will provide essential respiratory therapy support, including operating ventilators and conducting spirometry. Candidates should have at least three years of acute care experience, demonstrating strong leadership and problem-solving skills while working collaboratively within a critical care team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain life support equipment
• Perform inpatient diagnostic testing and spirometry
• Initiate and monitor oxygen therapy as needed
• Respond to cardiac arrest codes for airway management
• Provide education to patients and staff when required
Requirements:
• Registration with College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 3 years acute care experience
• Excellent communication skills and ability to establish relationships
• Capable of meeting physical job demands
