Take on a pivotal role at Dynacare as a Team Lead - Clinical Laboratory Assistant in Histology. Ensure smooth daily operations while mentoring your team in Brampton's dynamic lab environment.
As a Team Lead, you will oversee the Clinical Laboratory Assistant and Laboratory Assistant teams, ensuring all operations run effectively. Your background in histology will be valuable as you coach staff and maintain workflow efficiency. This permanent part-time position is anchored in an onsite lab setting during weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily team operations and ensure timely task completion
• Address anomalies and collaborate for corrective actions
• Manage inventory and supplies for operational efficiency
• Serve as a technical resource for laboratory teams
• Prepare and submit end-of-shift reports to the manager
Requirements:
• College or university degree, or certified Medical Laboratory Assistant
• Minimum 3 years of histology experience required
• Knowledge of ISO/GLP standards is an asset
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
