Support patient care at No Frills as a Pharmacy Assistant using prescription accuracy, data entry, and customer service skills. Flexible hours may include evenings and weekends.
This Pharmacy Assistant role supports prescription processing and pharmacy operations within No Frills. You will greet patients, confirm prescription information, enter patient care data, and dispense medications accurately. The position also includes stock maintenance, customer pickup, and referrals to the Pharmacist when required.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet patients and confirm pertinent prescription information
- Enter patient care information accurately
- Complete third party adjudication when necessary
- Dispense prescription medications accurately
- Maintain pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
- Pharmacy Assistant experience is an asset
- Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficient computer and data entry skills
- Flexibility for varied hours, including weekends
