In this role, you will assist the Director of Human Resources with comprehensive HR tasks, including recruitment, managing personnel files, and maintaining HRIS systems. Your expertise will also support health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies. Collaboration with various teams is key to enhancing the employee onboarding experience and managing documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage recruitment processes including postings and interviews
• Facilitate onboarding and orientation of new hires
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files
• Collaborate with health and safety programs
• Support payroll and compliance tasks
Requirements:
• Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Human Resources
• Minimum 3-5 years HR experience
• Knowledge of unionized environments an asset
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
