Position: Sr. Product Manager, Customer Payments )

Sr. Product Manager, Customer Payments – Brampton, ON

The Senior Manager is responsible for defining and executing the end-to-end payment strategy across physical retail and digital commerce channels. This role bridges the gap between point-of-sale technology, digital/eCommerce platforms, merchant acquirers, and in-store operations to ensure secure, compliant, efficient, and scalable payment experiences for customers and internal teams. The role partners closely with POS application teams, Digital/eCommerce teams, IT architecture, and external payment providers to deliver seamless payment capabilities that support both in-store and virtual retail experiences.

The role also evaluates and leverages emerging technologies — including agentic AI and intelligent automation — to improve payment operations, decisioning, customer experience, and risk management.

What You’ll Do
  • Define and own the enterprise retail payment strategy across in-store, online, mobile, and omnichannel experiences
  • Develop payment product roadmaps aligned to business growth, customer experience, and operational efficiency
  • Evaluate and introduce new payment methods, platforms, and capabilities (e.g., wallets, BNPL, tokenization, network services)
  • Partner with POS application teams to design and implement payment flows for physical retail environments
  • Collaborate with Digital and eCommerce teams to support online, mobile, and virtual payment experiences
What You Bring
  • 8–12+ years of experience in payments, financial services, retail technology, or digital commerce
  • Deep understanding of card payments, alternative tenders, and payment compliance (PCI DSS, EMV, network rules)
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives at a senior manager level
  • Application of AI or agentic workflows in payments, fraud, operations, or customer experience
  • Global or multi-market payment strategies
