Job Overview
Canadian Blood Services is seeking a Regular Full‑Time Analyst, SAP Business Systems III Human Resources to join the IT Internal Customer Experience team within the Digital Solutions and Technology Division. The role is based in Ottawa and will work in a hybrid environment, with an anticipated onsite presence of at least 40% of the work week.
Responsibilities- Provide third‑level support for SAP ECC and Success Factors HR systems, including troubleshooting, data analysis, and resolution of user requests.
- Assess and review client requirements for SAP HR system changes, participate in requirement review meetings, and translate needs into functional specifications.
- Configure SAP using the IMG, including pay scale, organization management, infotypes, benefit enrollment, LSMW, dynamic actions, and integration points.
- Develop and maintain documentation such as functional specifications, report mockups, security requirements, configuration steps, and workplans.
- Collaborate with the IT team to conduct unit, integration, user acceptance, and regression testing of SAP system changes.
- Provide technical support to Talent Acquisition, HR Support, and Learning Administration for Success Factors modules (Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning) and related processes.
- Participate in the evaluation of release notes and preparation of SAP Success
Factors releases.
- Post‑secondary education in IT, Business Administration, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience supporting SAP ECC configuration, including IMG, infotypes, LSMW, and authorization.
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting Success Factors Recruiting, Onboarding, or Learning in an IT support role.
- Experience in at least one full cycle of a Success Factors implementation.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
- Excellent problem‑analysis, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills for conveying technical information to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of SAP security roles and authorization is an asset.
