IGM Financial Inc. is a leading wealth and asset management company in Canada, managing approximately $310 billion in assets as of December 31, 2025. It offers financial planning and investment services to over two million Canadians through IG Wealth Management and Mackenzie Investments.

Mackenzie Investments, founded in 1967, is a key part of IGM's business model, serving as a comprehensive asset‑management partner for Canadian financial advisors and their clients.

Overall Job Purpose

The Senior Delivery Lead is accountable for predictable, secure, high‑quality delivery execution across one or more pods, complex initiatives, or multiple work streams. This role drives delivery discipline, planning, and transparency at a broader scope—translating priorities into achievable delivery forecasts, managing cross‑team dependencies, and ensuring delivery outcomes align to agreed scope, timing, and quality expectations. This is an influence-based, delivery‑accountable role.

Key Accountabilities
  • Own end-to-end delivery execution across assigned scope, ensuring committed work is delivered predictably, safely, and in line with agreed objectives and quality expectations.
  • Translate priorities into delivery plans, sequencing, and forecasts; surface constraints early and drive timely decisions and trade‑offs.
  • Establish and maintain delivery cadence and lightweight governance (planning, checkpoints, metrics review), improving predictability and flow over time.
  • Focus on process, methodology, and team coaching, without direct people management.
  • Enable pod members and pods to work together more effectively by driving predictable delivery, maintaining backlog, release, and dependency management.
  • Act as the agile enabler and operational execution lead of the pod.
  • Proactively manage delivery risks, dependencies, and impediments across pods, platforms, and partners; drive resolution and structured escalation where required.
  • Provide consistent delivery visibility (status, milestones, risks, forecast, dependency health) to stakeholders and enterprise partners.
  • Partner with enterprise stakeholders (Risk, Info Sec, Compliance, Privacy) to ensure delivery includes operational readiness, control alignment, and launch/transition planning.
  • Support delivery resource stewardship by contributing to estimation, capacity planning, vendor coordination, and delivery cost awareness within established guardrails.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, learning‑oriented delivery culture aligned with ways of working and IGM values.
  • Participate in relevant chapter activities by sharing standards, tools, templates, and lessons learned to support consistent delivery practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience); an advanced degree is an asset.
  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in technology delivery/program execution across complex initiatives.
  • Agile/lean delivery knowledge (planning cadence, ceremonies, and iterative delivery).
  • Delivery planning and forecasting (milestones, sequencing, and delivery health).
  • Cross‑team dependency, risk, and issue management using influence and structured escalation.
  • Stakeholder communication and transparency (status, risks, decisions, and trade‑offs).
  • Familiar with leveraging GenAI and collaboration tools to boost productivity and decision‑making.
  • Leads with resilience & agility through change: maintains outcome focus through uncertainty.

The expected annual base salary range for this role is $125,000 - $145,000, which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual short‑term incentive, health and well‑being benefits, retirement and savings plan, paid time off and career development.

Benefits
  • Competitive compensation & recognition: competitive base salary, performance‑weighted bonus, education/career support, option to join Employee Share Purchase Plan with employer matching component.
  • Employee benefits & insurance: competitive health and dental coverage, flexible plan for you and your family and short‑term & long‑term disability plans.
  • Retirement savings…
