AS400 Application Support

As part of the Application Support team, you will drive efforts to troubleshoot incidents, coordinate with various teams, and deliver 24x7 support for critical system issues. Your responsibilities will also include leading root cause analyses and implementing operational improvements to enhance system functionality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain AS400 application availability according to SLAs
• Resolve incidents and service requests in a timely manner
• Collaborate with network and application teams for efficient solutions
• Provide ongoing support for critical issues
• Implement changes to fill operational gaps in processes
Requirements:
• Strong experience with IBM i (AS400/iSeries) systems
• Skills in CL and RPG for effective troubleshooting
• Background in batch job processing and scheduling
• Exposure to automation and monitoring techniques
• Knowledge of system messages and job logs
