In your permanent full-time role, you'll engage with both SQL Server and Azure SQL to enhance performance, security, and automation. Your work will include 70% database administration and 30% Dev Ops tasks, collaborating closely with various teams. You will support Azure workloads while improving operational efficiency and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases
• Manage backups, restores, and disaster recovery testing
• Monitor database health and performance proactively
• Collaborate on database schema and query optimization
• Automate database administration tasks effectively
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 5+ years of SQL Server administration experience
• Proficient in T-SQL and performance troubleshooting
• Familiar with Azure SQL technologies
• Strong automation and scripting skills
