Metro Compactor Service seeks a PLC Support Technician to enhance waste management efficiency through expert technical support. Embrace a role filled with troubleshooting and innovation.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality of waste equipment by providing expert support and diagnostics. Your experience with PLC systems is vital, as you'll interact with clients and field technicians, solve complex issues, and keep operations running smoothly. This position demands strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and optimize automated waste systems
• Provide field and remote technical support
• Ensure timely resolution of support tickets for clients
• Conduct thorough quality assurance on installations
• Install and commission new control panels as required
Requirements:
• Minimum two years’ experience in PLC troubleshooting
• Proficiency with Allen Bradley and Schneider PLCs
• Ability to read and edit schematics and documentation
• Valid driver’s license and strong communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
