Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you'll work closely with teams across manufacturing, engineering, planning, sales, and operations to support business objectives and maintain a reliable supply chain. Your Responsibilities

You'll source and secure materials required to support custom manufacturing operations while ensuring on‑time availability.

You'll develop sourcing strategies, identify specialized suppliers, and support supplier selection and performance management activities.

You'll negotiate pricing, contracts, terms, and agreements to achieve quality, cost, inventory, and delivery objectives.

You'll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to anticipate procurement needs and proactively resolve supply chain challenges.

You'll monitor supplier quality and delivery performance, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

You'll analyze inventory levels, forecasts, supplier performance metrics, and cost‑saving opportunities while preparing procurement reports.

You'll manage purchasing activities within ERP/MRP systems, expedite materials when required, and support product lifecycle and change management processes.

Skills and Qualifications

5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably supporting custom or engineered products.

Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Demonstrated experience sourcing specialized suppliers and managing supplier relationships.

Strong knowledge of procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier performance management, and purchasing best practices.

Experience working within a technical or engineering‑focused manufacturing environment.

Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, advanced Microsoft Excel, and other business software applications.

Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
