Drive procurement excellence with G&W Electric as a Buyer focusing on sourcing and supplier management. Engage in negotiations and foster relationships to meet production demands. This position supports the Supply Chain Manager and is responsible for all procurement aspects, ensuring material availability for complex, engineered products.
Responsibilities Manage supplier selection and pricing negotiations
Monitor supplier quality and fulfillment issues
Collaborate with teams to handle parts shortages
Develop procurement strategies using ERP/MRP systems
Report on materials, cost‑saving metrics and forecasts
Qualifications At least 2 years in purchasing within manufacturing
Bachelor's degree or related diploma
Familiarity with ERP/MRP and robust software skills
Ability to multi‑task and work under pressure
Solid problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
