3PL Freight Dispatcher

Salary: $60,000 to $70,000, based on experience

We are recruiting a 3PL Freight Dispatcher on behalf of a growing transportation and logistics company in Halton Hills, Ontario.

The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated territory covering Eastern Canada and the United States, Western Canada and the United States, or domestic Canadian transportation.

Responsibilities

• Book and coordinate freight shipments within an assigned territory
• Source and develop relationships with trucking companies and carriers
• Negotiate competitive rates while maintaining service quality and margins
• Secure reliable carrier capacity for customer shipments
• Coordinate pickup and delivery requirements
• Monitor shipments and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams
• Respond to service issues, delays and customer concerns
• Maintain accurate shipment, carrier and pricing information
• Communicate consistently with carriers, customers and internal departments

Qualifications

• At least one year of 3PL dispatching, freight brokerage or transportation experience
• Experience coordinating freight across Canada or between Canada and the United States
• Strong carrier sourcing, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience with Loadlink, Salesforce, Revenova or a similar platform is an asset

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary of $60,000 to $70,000, based on experience
