Lab is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join its Rouyn-Noranda branch. Reporting to the Site Director, the incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of logistics department operations and ensuring its efficient performance.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Site Director, the Logistics Coordinator is primarily responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the Logistics Department, including sample receiving and shipping, supply receiving, customer order shipments, and subcontracting activities. The incumbent also oversees sample registration activities in company systems, trains and supervises employees to ensure compliance with H2

Lab standards, and coordinates the human and material resources required for the department’s efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities Coordination and Management
  • Work closely with the Customer Service Department to ensure effective sample management, including urgent requests, issue reporting, client commitments, and special requirements related to receiving and shipping activities.
  • Staff management, including training, employee engagement, and time management.
  • Ensure strict compliance with quality procedures and the management system.
  • Manage inventories of departmental equipment and consumables and place orders as needed.
  • Manage the vehicle fleet, where applicable.
  • Participate in development, continuous improvement, and quality initiatives.
Receiving and Shipping
  • Coordinate internal and external subcontracting receiving and shipping activities efficiently.
  • Coordinate and participate in the preparation and shipment of customer orders, including containers and coolers, based on requests received from Customer Service.
  • Establish and optimize sample collection routes and supervise drivers, where applicable.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
  • One (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience in logistics, receiving/shipping operations, and team supervision.
