Commodities Cost Management Manager

Drive enterprise cost analysis at Loblaw Companies Limited as a Commodities Manager focused on supplier changes and strategic sourcing.

Reporting to the Director, Commodities, you will manage cost changes across the total enterprise. Your work will support best cost of goods through supplier negotiations, market analysis, and sourcing initiatives. The role combines analytical review, stakeholder coordination, and process improvement.

• Review cost of goods increase management activities
• Analyze and communicate supplier-proposed cost changes
• Coordinate negotiations with Commodities, Sourcing, and Merchandising
• Identify cost improvement opportunities using market data
• Manage supplier conversations supporting strategic sourcing initiatives

• University degree in business, economics, mathematics, or related field
• Three to five years of relevant experience
• Understanding of commodity markets, procurement, retail finance, or merchandising
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including some macro experience
• Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills
